Douglas Junior Stewart

Douglas Junior Stewart, a loving husband, dedicated truck driver, and a cherished member of the Cincinnati community, passed away on September 21, 2023, at the age of 89. Born on July 19, 1934, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Douglas led a life filled with hard work, humility, and a quiet strength that endeared him to all those who knew him.

In 1969, Douglas Junior Stewart married the love of his life, Betty Stewart, whom he had met at Baldwin Pianos. Their loving union lasted for an extraordinary 54 years, a testament to their commitment and unwavering dedication to one another. Their marriage was filled with countless memories, love, and laughter that will forever remain in the hearts of their loved ones.

Beyond his career and marriage, Douglas was a devoted son to his parents, Lola Stewart and Robert Stewart, father. He carried their memory with him throughout his life.

Douglas Junior Stewart is survived by his beloved wife, Betty Stewart, his daughters, Gloria and Debbie, his grandchildren, and his nieces and nephews, who will honor his memory and carry on his legacy. He was preceded in death by his parents and his two sons, Robbie and Greg.

The funeral arrangements to celebrate the life of Douglas Junior Stewart include a visitation at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home on September 30, 2023, at 12:30 pm (2155 Compton Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45231-Follow blue line on cemetery grounds). The final resting place of Douglas will be at Arlington Memorial Gardens with a graveside service scheduled at 2:00 pm.
