Douglas Wilbur White Sr.

june 27, 1952 – june 11, 2023

Douglas Wilbur White Sr.

Douglas White Sr., age 70, passed away on June 11, 2023.

Douglas was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on June 27, 1952. On June 15, 1974, he married his sweetheart. They would have celebrated 49 years of marriage this year.

Doug grew up in Camp Washington fishing with his father and playing softball with his buddies; many of them remained his closest friends. He spent many years working as a general contractor. After retirement, he and his wife dedicated their lives to their amazing triplet grandchildren. They spent countless hours watching them grow into the wonderful young people they are today. Doug and Pam enjoyed traveling to watch their grandchildren compete in various sports and competitions. One of his greatest joys in life was vacationing with family in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. His greatest hero was his son.

Douglas is survived by his loving wife, Pamela White, his son Douglas (Amy) White Jr., his grandchildren, Ethan White, Ally White, Shelby White, and his sister, Tammy (Randy) Hammonds.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Hazel White, brothers, Milton and Joe White.

“My deepest sympathy for your loss of such a kind soul. Doug was my fitst cousin and always greeted me with a smile and kind words. I loved seeing him when we would visit Aunt Hazel’s house and he would be there. He had my Dad’s first name as his middle name and my Dad often spoke dearly of him. He’s surely in heaven with him now enjoying bliss while praising God and watching over us all, until we meet again. May he rest in peace 🙏”
