Dylan Charles Straughn

Dylan Charles Straughn, 15, passed away Tuesday October 7, 2025.  He was born on October 19, 2009, in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of Paul Straughn and Erin Robin Stanley. 

Dylan was a sophomore at Moeller High School where he was passionate about Volleyball and in the Marching band.  He recently signed up to be in Improv Classes. Dylan’s smile echoed in every room he entered and his compassion reached so many.

He is survived by his father Paul Fredrick-Dylan Straughn (April Hunter), sisters Kylie Marie Stanley and Cassidy Nicole Straughn and stepbrother Ethan Hunter and stepsister Allison Hunter.  He is also survived by his aunts and uncles, Robert Stanley Jr (Lauren Stanley), Michael (Patricia) Pittman and Jeff (Laura) Lacrone, grandparents Robert Stanley Sr, Jackie Hall

He is preceded in death by his mother, Erin Robin Stanley, grandmothers Paula Gay, grandmother Paula Straughn, grandfather Frederick Charles Straughn, and aunt April Biery, cousins Christopher, Cali, Willow, Ivy, Gabriel, Autumn, Graclynn. Ellalynn. Michael Jr, Jasmine, Breeanna, Abby, Sophia, Gabby, Meghan, and Ashley.

Gathering of family and friends will be held from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Friday October 17, 2025, in the Gymnasium at Moeller High School, 9001 Montgomery Road.  A Celebration of Dylan’s life will follow at 11 a.m. in the Paul E. Flaig Performing Arts Center at Moeller High School. A private burial will be held in Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2154 Compton Road, Cincinnati.
