E. Loraine Green

Emma Loraine Green passed away peacefully in the presence of her loving daughter on June 28, 2023.  She was 92.  She is survived by her daughter and son, Beverly Brackney and Russell (Pam) Green, her grandchildren, Andrew (Alison) Brackney, Brandon (Anne) Brackney, Shawna Brackney, Jonathan (Diana) Green, Robert Green, and her great-grandchildren, Faith Gims, Logan, Marin, and Nolan Brackney.  She is also survived by her brother, Clyde (Melanie) Barnes, extended and loving family members, and friends.  She will be welcomed by her husband Charles Green Jr, son-in-law, Thomas Michael Brackney, sister Wilma, and good friend Lois in heaven.

               E. Loraine was born July 4, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio to parents Russell and Eva Barnes.  She began a career at General Electric in 1951 where she met her husband, Charles Green Jr.  The couple was married on August 23, 1952 in Cincinnati and in 1953, welcomed daughter Beverly and son Russell in 1957.  E. Loraine was an avid and skilled golfer.  She was a frequent visitor of GE Park, spending time with friends and family.  She will be deeply missed for her kind heart and strong will.

               Visitation will be held Thursday, July 6, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (2155 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 – After cemetery gates, follow the blue line to the left.  Funeral home is on the left.).  Services will begin Thursday, July 6, 2023, at 12:00 PM with burial to follow at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Memorial Park.
