Edward (Ed) Bernard Rehe

It is with profound sadness that we announce Edward (Ed) Bernard Rehe passed away peacefully in his home in Cincinnati, Ohio on April 17, 2020, of natural causes.

He was the cherished son of Joseph and Louise (nee Niehoff) and is now reunited with them in rest.

Married to his beloved wife, Mary Ellen (nee Dobell) for 64 years. Both grew up in Norwood, Ohio and met where they worked, at the American Laundry Machinery Co. 

Edward is lovingly remembered by his daughter, Patricia (Richard) Stanley and his son, Joseph (Patricia nee Currin). He held a special place in his heart for his grandchildren, Julie (Mark) Miller, Timothy (Brandi) Rehe, Rebecca Rehe, Abigail (Jordan) Von Walde and Michelle Rehe, great-grandchildren, Hunter Rehe and Cohen Von Walde. He is also reunited with his brother, Joseph Rehe and sister, Ethel (Jeri) Huber.

Edward enjoyed gardening, golfing (worm burners league), good food, traveling all over the United States and going to the casino. He enjoyed watching the Reds and loved watching Xavier basketball. 

Edward was very easy going, loved a good laugh and enjoyed getting to know people. His saying for when things were tough is, “What will be, will be”. He will be greatly missed.
