Edwin G. Schlesselman

Edwin George Schlesselman, of Cincinnati, OH, passed away on April 4, 2024, at the age of 84. He was born on August 19, 1939, in Cincinnati, OH and resided there until his passing.

Ed was a talented Industrial Designer, having owned EG Schlesselman Inc for over 30 years. He designed and created unique lighting fixtures for a variety of vendors and the display industry. His creativity and craftsmanship shone through his various projects, including designing lighting for iconic establishments and the historic Rauh House in Cincinnati. Ed dedicated his skills to refurbishing and restoring historic lighting fixtures throughout the Tri-State area.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Ed cherished his family deeply. He shared 60 wonderful years of marriage with his high school sweetheart, Linda. Together, they raised a daughter, Julie. Ed’s passions extended to model railroads, gardening, animals and nature.

In honor of his life and contributions, a private service will be held by family.

Ed’s commitment to excellence, love for his family, and profound impact on his community will always be remembered.
