Nora Eberlein

Nora Eberlein, age 92, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2022, in Hamilton, Ohio. 

Nora was born on July 23, 1930, in Cincinnati, OH – one of 7 children to Fred and Anna Buck and she married Mel Eberlein of Cincinnati on September 23, 1950. Nora was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, and her loving husband of 62 years. She is survived by her daughter Marcia (the late Joe) Mollica, her son Jeff (Kate) Eberlein, her grandchildren Samantha (Kevin) Blair, and Kyle (Tricia Hofacker) Eberlein.

She loved family, reading, and engaging with those she met in conversation. Until her later years she was very active in her church and was instrumental in creating a community supper program in North College Hill. While she spent most of her years as a wife, mother, homemaker, and “Memaw,” she enjoyed working as an aide in Cincinnati Public Schools for over a dozen years. 

A celebration of life will be held Monday, November 14, 2022. A short visitation will be held from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at 10:30 AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line upon entering the memorial park).

Eternal Inurnment will follow graveside for family.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that remembrances be made in memory of Nora to K9s for Warriors (k9sforwarriors.org) or Queen City Hospice (The Hope Foundation, 4605 Duke Dr., Suite 220, Mason, OH 45040)
