October 13, 1929 – March 10, 2024

Frank Gustave Frederick

Frank Gustave Frederick, a dedicated father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2024, at the age of 94. Born on October 13, 1929, in Cincinnati, Frank was a man of unwavering strength and reliability. He leaves behind a legacy of love, hard work, and dedication to his family.

Frank was a skilled Electrical Technician who spent his career in the industrial sector, working at Formica. He was known for his ability to fix anything, always lending a helping hand wherever it was needed. A natural storyteller, Frank captivated those around him with his tales of wisdom and humor.

In his personal life, Frank found joy in the simple pleasures. He enjoyed fishing, watching his grandchildren and great-grandchildren at all of their sporting events and school programs, and was a devoted caretaker to his wife for 63 years until her passing. Frank was the rock of his family, providing for them until his last breath, serving as a role model for hard work, compassion, and dedication.

He is survived by his children, Sandee (Jerry) Newport, Dan (Kathy) Frederick, and Pam Mohr; grandchildren, Brian Newport, Jena (Eric) Kohler, Scott (Ashley) Frederick, Erin Frederick, Jonathan Frederick, Jon Mohr, Nick Mohr, and Alyssa Mohr; great-grandchildren, Jace, Alexis, Bella, Cal, Fynn, Graham, Gwyneth, Kiyah, Ian, Bryson, Brody, and Layla. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Patsy Ruth Frederick, parents, Frank and Gertrude (Riess) Frederick, and grandson, Michael Mohr. Frank’s presence will be deeply missed, but his spirit will live on through the countless lives he touched.

Private services in honor of Frank’s life will be held by immediate family at the Arlington Memorial Gardens.

Memorial contributions in honor of Frank can be made to a charity of one’s choice.

May his legacy of love and strength continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace, Frank Gustave Frederick.

“To my dear Papa Frank. Thank you for being such a kindhearted soul. This world has lost a bit of its humanity with your passing. I hope that sharing the same blood as you I can carry on your kindness and compassion in your absence. Thank you for being a part of my life and sharing yours with me. I am forever grateful for the time spent with you and memories we made. I will miss our phone calls and morning cereal with donuts! Rest Easy and Shine Bright! I love you, until we meet again 💚”
