Gloria Lou Smith

Gloria Lou Smith nee Johnson of Cincinnati Ohio passed away November 12, 2018.  Born on April 3, 1937, in Cincinnati Ohio to Chester and Ruth.

Mom was a devoted wife and mother.  Mom loved her family and protected us with everything she had.  Everyone loved Glo as she was fondly known, we always had a houseful of friends, family and sometimes strangers who needed a good hot meal.  Mom was a fantastic cook.  Later in her life she cooked and fed the kids for 25 years at Kilgore elementary school and was fortunate to serve her grandchildren and great granddaughter. 

Mom’s been waiting patiently to go to her final resting place with the love of her life John David, they were married 63 years at the time of her passing.  Gloria leaves behind her cherished daughter Sharon Conlon, grandchildren Blake, Victoria and Trey, great grandchildren Madeline, Eli, Henry and Jack and a very special great great grandson Keio Love.

Mom was preceded in death by her parents, brother Jerry Johnson, very special son John Chester and daughter Karen Ruth.

Funeral services are September 11th 1:00 @ Arlington Memorial Cemetery.
