Gregory Alan Mancill

Gregory Alan Mancill, age 79, of Cincinnati, OH, was born into eternity on August 8, 2026. He was born on October 7, 1946 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Harry S. and Mary A. (nee Thomson) Mancill.

Gregory is survived by his children, Brenda (Michael) Mancill-Montesano of Cincinnati, OH, Tara L. Mancill-Hagenbuch of Pennsburg, PA, and Kevin G. Mancill of Flagstaff, AZ. He is also survived by his 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.

Gregory spent his early years in Norristown, PA where he graduated from Bishop McKenna High School. He served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force working as an Aircraft mechanic. After his service, Gregory had a 40 plus year career as a union Refrigeration Technician, working in Pennsylvania and Salt Lake City, Utah at Smith’s Food and Drug.

After his retirement, Gregory enjoyed traveling in his 38-foot RV, visiting 48 of the continental United States and Alaska. On his trip to Oregon, he caught a 60-inch Sturgeon on the Columbia River! Gregory also enjoyed making string art.

Gregory was a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church in Norwood. His faith was very important to him.

Visitation will be held on Monday, August 17, 2026 from 6:00-7:30pm at Immaculate Conception Church, 2310 Robertson Avenue, Cincinnati, OH 45212. A rosary service will follow at 7:30pm. Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, August 18, 2026 at 9:30am at the church. Burial will take place at 11:30am at Arlington Memorial Gardens, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.

The family would like to give special thanks to the health care professionals at Hospice of Cincinnati, especially Nick and Tanita, for their care in Gregory’s final days. Gratitude is also extended to the parishioners, Father William Jenkins, and Father Joseph Greenwell of Immaculate Conception Church in Norwood for their prayers and support during this time.

In honor of Gregory, memorial contributions can be made to the St. Thomas Aquinas Foundation at 331 Ellis Rd, Mt Orab, OH 45154.
