Helen G. Rocca

Helen G. Rocca, age 99, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2022, in Mt. Healthy, Ohio.

Helen was born on April 17, 1923, in London, KY to Hood Morris and Jessie Burnett.

Helen is survived by her daughters; Judith (Larry) Rahe and Karen Turner, 5 grandchildren; Shari (Matt) Rhodenbaugh, Mandy (Rick) Bettag, Erin (Victor) Elgie, Amy (Tim) Curtis, and Andrew (Casey) Monahan, 8 great grandchildren; Hannah and Heidi Rhodenbaugh, Lauryn and Liam Bettag, Naomi and Genevieve Elgie, and Meara and Isaac Monahan and 3 nephews; Stephen, James and Gary Morris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Kay Schuler, her brother Marvin Morris, her son-in-law Gregory Turner, and a nephew.

Helen loved cooking, gardening, reading, and playing bridge. Some of her favorite meals included her tasty roast beef and her delicious pumpkin and apple pies. She was an avid reader of the Bible, resolute member of the church who enjoyed teaching Sunday School. Helen was seen by her family as a true Prayer Warrior. Growing up she enjoyed working summers in her brother’s jewelry store and childcare at her church. Helen was outgoing and had a healthy balanced life. She took on the servitude of caregiving, which was known in her family. She was indeed a jewel and will be missed dearly.
