Herman Story

Mr. Herman Story, age 88, passed away on August 10, 2023. Herman was born in Cincinnati, OH to Herman Story and Josephine Story (Sickmann). Herman married Victoria Story formerly of Bright, Indiana.

Herman is survived by his wife Victoria Story, children Wayne Story, Katherine (Dan) McCarthy, Deborah Story, Jane (Dan) Brinkman, 10 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents Herman Story and Josephine Sickmann, stepfather Joseph Sickmann, daughter Crystal Barnhart, a grandson and a great grandson.

Herman retired from Welco Industries in 1989 where he was the Vice President. After retirement, he enjoyed golfing, his dog and euchre. He also carried several part-time jobs, working at Home Depot, the Reds and UC.

Memorial Services for Mr. Herman Story will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line upon entering the memorial park) with Jim Milner, officiating. Burial of cremated remains to follow. Donations can be made out to P.A.W.S of Dearborn County Humane Center https://pawsofdearborncounty.org/donate/
