Janet F. Ison (nee Hensley) passed away Friday, January 27, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of 67 years to the late James W. Ison. Loving mother of Steven D. Ison, Deborah Ann (Gary) Magalski, Pamela Sue (James) Mousie and Lela (Dean) Marshall. Dear sister to the late Roberta Strunk, Earl Hensley, Phyllis Brandenburg and Harold Hensley. Cherished grandmother of Benjamin James (Katherine) Magalski, Nathan Jerome (Jessica) Magalski, Joshua James Mousie, Maria Michelle (Brian) Chastaine, Jacob Edward (Morgan) Marshall, Jonathan James Marshall, Alycia Faith Marshall and Alexia Hope Marshall. Great Grandmother to Jasmine, Jillian, Noah, Nehemiah, Naomi, Luke, Isaac, Jude, Eden, Breille, Rylan, and Tyson. Also survived by loving nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and Friends are invited to a Visitation Thursday, February 2nd 9:30am – 11:30am. Funeral Service to follow at 11:30am. All services will be held at Beacon of Christ Baptist Church (6384 Harrison Ave.) Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
