Beloved wife of the late James R. Golan, loving mother of Susan (Alan) Barclay, J. Scott Golan and Steven (Monica Seiter) Golan, dear grandmother of Jennifer (Joseph Mozloom) Golan, Robert (Vanessa) Golan, Sarah (Tim) Benner, Douglas (Jessica) Golan and Olivia Golan (Adam Hardie). Passed away Friday, January 2, 2026.

Born in Kennard, Indiana, to John Robert and Agnes Marcella Frye Judge, and married for 64 years to Jim, Jan was a secretary, homemaker, and mother in the earliest days of their life together. Later she earned her BA from the University of Cincinnati, with a semester at Middlebury College in Vermont, concentrating in the French language. Jan also served in the Stephens Ministry and as a deacon at Northminster Presbyterian Church, where she was a longtime friend to many. Memorial service will be Friday, January 16, 2026, 11:00 AM at Northminster Presbyterian Church, 703 Compton Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45231. Family will greet friends following the service in the Fellowship Hall of the church. Memorials may be made to Northminster Presbyterian Church, or the National Parkinson Foundation, 1359 Broadway Suite#1509 New York, New York 10018.
