Janet Louise Steinkamp, age 93, of Colerain Township, passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Hospice of Cincinnati in Blue Ash. She was born the daughter of Alban and Clara Frey on June 8, 1931 in Cincinnati, Ohio.

A graduate of Colerain High School, Janet was married to Raymond Charles Steinkamp until his passing in 2009. She was a housewife and loving mother residing in her house for 64 years. She enjoyed her girls club, the monthly couples card club, gardening with her red geraniums and watching the Reds.

She is survived by her loving family, leaving behind her son, James Steinkamp, his wife Shawn Murphy, the grandchildren, Jessica (Chase) Hymer and Jena (Andrew) Wyborski and great grandchildren Rae and Rowan Hymer. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Janet was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond Steinkamp, her parents Alban and Clara Frey, her brother Earl Frey; her sisters Audrey Williams and Garnet Wilson.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, OH 45231. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt. Healthy, 2145 Compton Road, 45231.
