Janice Marie Paige

Janice Marie Paige passed peacefully in her sleep on March 16, 2023.

Affectionately known as “Little Birgans” by Cincinnati classmates in her youth, Janice excelled at human relations and the arts, winning accolades in Family Counseling for at risk communities and pursuing a B.A. in Studio Arts at Georgia State University later in life.

Janice was an intelligent, resourceful and passionate soul who enjoyed reading, nature shows, good music, cooking and chocolate. She was a loving soul with a wise heart and a green thumb. She was fiercely independent and challenged those around her to be the same. She sparkled with wit and humor and taught her children to strive for their best. She shined.

Janice is survived by her children, Mitchell (Lisa) White, James White-Pankey, Bruce White, Asha (Christopher) Fotos, Larry Roberts, and John (Tomesha) Paige, her brother William (Ihsan) Birgans, 23 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

A private Memorial Service for Ms. Janice Marie Paige will be held on Sunday April 2, 2023 at 11:00 AM.
