Joan Marshall

Joan Marshall, age 82, passed away on August 17, 2022.

Joan was born in Elk Valley, TN to Francis & Phoebe Bowlin. Joan was married to her loving husband William Marshall for 63 years. She loved not just her own sons but all the children she met: she was a caring mother through and through.

Joan is survived by her loving husband William; her sons Steven Marshall, David (Theresa) Marshall, & William “Buzz” Marshall; her grandchildren Steven Marshall, Jr., Lyndsey Campbell, Sarah Marshall, Caressa Waldeck, Ryan Marshall, Chaz Marshall, & Chandler Marshall; her great-grandchildren Alex Marshall, Chloe Marshall, Lili Trovato, Paige Campbell, Olivia Marsh, Rosalie Marsh, Colton Marsh, Cayden Marshall, Cohan Marshall, Christian Waldeck, Stella Waldeck, Georgie Waldeck, Ruby Waldeck, & Addilyn Marshall; and her sister Bertie Belew.

She was preceded in death by her parents Francis & Phoebe; her granddaughter Casey Ann Marshall; her daughter-in-law Trina Marshall; and her siblings Jimmy Bowlin, Billy Bowlin, Britain Bowlin, Betty Jean Bath, Frances Burroughs, Mary Kay Whitworth.

A visitation for Joan will be held Wednesday, August 24, 2022 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home (2155 Compton Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45231; follow the BLUE line). A funeral service will begin at 1:30 PM with a committal service to follow in the Garden of the 23rd Psalm.

“She was awesome even though I knew her very little it was a sad day when I found out about her passing and then my mother ( aunt) passed away in October right after that I learned of Joann and its tough when I have no one to speak to when times are rough for me and I’m loosing my hearing now cause of wreck and life is short enough but I stay strong more than ever has my loved one has cancer now also so everyone is in my prayers.
