JoAnn Elizabeth Schwarm (née Procter), age 78, passed away peacefully at her residence on Sunday, May 3, 2026. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on December 2, 1947, to the late William and Margaret (née Sowers) Procter.

JoAnn was the beloved wife of the late Richard Schwarm. She was a devoted mother to Kim Foster-King, Tracey (Bryon) Doss, Shannon Schwarm, and Richard Schwarm Jr. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Brittannie, Tyler, McKenzie, Ashton, Tiegan, Alexander, Landen, Hannah, Camden, Tanner, Breyden, Breonna, and Bradley, and a cherished great-grandmother to Mielah, Delaney, Aulden, Paisyn, Carsyn, Emersyn, Rynilah, Amari, Addellina, Esmae, and Quinton.

JoAnn is also survived by her siblings, James Procter, Sharon Young, and Melissa Fixmer, and was preceded in death by her brother, William Procter.

Family and friends will be received at Neidhard Young Funeral Home, 7401 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy, on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 12 PM. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation in JoAnn’s memory.
