John Mason

John Eugene Mason 3/19/1935 – 4/7/2024. John, 89 of Goshen, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2024.

John was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Golie Foster and Toi Louise (Kidwell) Mason. John served in the US Navy as a hospital corpsman assigned to the Marines in the Korean War.

John was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Betty Lou (Anderson) Mason. Wife of 44
years.

John is survived by his wife Carol Brown Mason. Wife of 16 years. Also survived by Tracey Lovitt (Virgil), Robyn Prophater (Ken), and John Wesley Mason. He is also survived by grandchildren Amanda Hodge (Jason), Glen Lovitt (Megan), Amberly Lovitt, Ross Prophater (Chasity), Mason Prophater (Nicole), and Alyssa Thompson.

John is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

John worked at Ford Motor Co for 30 years and retired in 1994.

John was also know in Ohio and Kentucky for starting several churches and faithfully pastoring Baptist churches for over 60 years.

A private burial is being held.
