John William Wilson

John William Wilson, 82, died Jan. 7, 2011, at Indian River Medical Center, Vero Beach. 

He was born in Brooklyn, N.Y., and lived in Fort Pierce for 20 years coming from Kings Park, N.Y.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He was a member of the Kings Park Fire Volunteer Department for more than 40 years.  

Survivors include his wife of almost 60 years, Joan Wilson of Fort Pierce; daughters, Eileen Killian of San Antonio, TX; Diane Westrich of West Chester, Ohio, and Sandee Kaminsky of Spring, TX; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
