A DEATH
HAS OCCURRED
Joseph M. Senger, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, was born on April 19, 1943, in Hamilton, Ohio. He passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024, in his home, leaving behind a legacy of compassion and kindness that touched the hearts of everyone who knew him. Joe was preceded in death by his sister, Mary Beth Senger and son Randy.
Joseph, or “Alamo Joe” as his friends and family affectionately called him, dedicated over 50 years to his passion for electronics. What started as a small business with just two televisions eventually grew into Alamo Electronics, where he specialized in customizing electronic systems for homes and businesses. Joe prioritized his employees, treating them more like family. Joe found immense joy in his work, always believing in the importance of providing exceptional service and helping others without seeking recognition.
A devoted family man, Joe cherished his wife, Chris, with whom he shared 42 wonderful years of marriage. Together they created a loving home filled with laughter, learning, and occasional adventure. He took great pride in raising his children – Rick (Tracy), Debbie (Dave), Shane (Anita), his late son Randy, and Corey – instilling in them the values of hard work and kindness. As a grandfather and uncle, he was a constant source of love and wisdom to Kyle (Samantha), Jacob (Sami Jo), Hailey (Jared), Holly (Marco), Nick, Rachel, Jordan, and his nephew Zachary always eager to share life skills and enjoy their activities whenever he could.
Joe had a special love for animals, particularly cats. He would often bring home strays, nursing them back to health and ensuring their well-being, even covering their vet bills when necessary. His kind heart extended beyond his family and pets; throughout his life, Joe anonymously supported numerous charities, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need.
An enthusiastic hobbyist, Joe loved listening to old-time radio shows and was an advanced user of Hamm radios, connecting with others and sharing his passion. He also relished shopping for his beloved Chris, a true testament to his affection for her.
Joe will be remembered as a hidden gem, someone who genuinely cared for others and made the world a better place. His gentle spirit, humility and unwavering support for his loved ones will be profoundly missed.
We invite all who knew Joe to join us in honoring and celebrating a life filled with love, compassion, and dedication to family and friends.
