Joseph W. Paulin

Joseph W. Paulin, devoted father of Christine (Tom) Ankenbauer, Jennifer Semrad, and Sarah (Karl) Imwalle.  Loving grandfather of Maria (Drew), Joe, Ben, Grace, Michael, Sophie, Anna, Jack and Natalie.  Great-grandfather of Lily, Audrey, Cecilia, Hayden and Zander.  Survived by his constant and caring companion, Peggy Hanna, whose devotion to Joe was appreciated by all who loved him.  Son of the late Francis X. and late Mary Paulin. Dear brother of the late Francis X. Paulin Jr., James (Jane) Paulin, Renee (Ron) Deis, Claire (Ken) Edgell, the late William Paulin and Mary Paulin Oakes.  Preceded in death by his in laws, Daniel Hughes, Kim Oakes and Joyce Paulin.  Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  Joseph passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at the age of 77.

Joe was born on October 5, 1945, in Pittsburgh, PA. The family moved to Cincinnati when Joe was in 10^th grade. He was a graduate of McNicholas High School and Xavier University. Joe was a well-respected CPA and owned his own business for over 30 years.  Joe enjoyed golfing, fishing, the outdoors and being with family and friends.  He was fun-loving, caring and compassionate.   He will be remembered as the life of the party!  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
