Joyce Brosnan

Joyce Brosnan, age 85, passed away on October 31, 2022.

Joyce was born in Covington, Kentucky to Robert and Leota Morris. Joyce was married to J. Patrick Brosnan of Cincinnati, Ohio for 51 years.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Kenneth (Kim) Brosnan, and Keith Brosnan, her daughters, Kathe (Tom) Edwards, and Kris (Glen) Napolitano, her grandchildren, Holly Edwards, Kelly (Ian) Cape, April Edwards, Katie (Zac) Fuller, Angela (Aaron) Meyers, Kenny (Emily) Brosnan, Laura (Justin Kamlowsky) Napolitano, Benjamin (Kristen) Edwards, and Maria Napolitano, seven great grandchildren, and 2 siblings, Bob (Pat) Morris and Greg (Janet) Morris.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband J. Patrick Brosnan.

Joyce enjoyed spending time with family and music. She learned and loved playing the piano in Sayler Park as a young girl. Joyce and Pat married in 1957 and raised four children. She worked at Westminster Presbyterian Church in Covedale for 17 years as the church secretary. Family vacations in Hilton Head Island were always something she looked forward to each year. Joyce’s favorite Holiday was Christmas, because of the traditions that she continued to share with her grandchildren. She enjoyed watching sports, only when her children and grandchildren were playing. Joyce was their biggest cheerleader. She was a loving, kind mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and will be missed by all who knew her.

Public viewing will be held Monday, November 7, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (please follow the light blue line upon entering the memorial park).

Services for Joyce Brosnan will be held on Monday, November 7, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Pastor Tim McQuade, officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens at 12:00 PM in Springfield Township, Ohio.
