It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Karl “Carlo” Joseph Iavicoli, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and friend. Carlo left this world on July 10, 2025, at the age of 62, following a courageous two-year battle with cancer. Born on July 1, 1963, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Carlo’s life was characterized by creativity, passion, and a deep appreciation for music and the beauty of the world around him.

Carlo was a talented singer and songwriter, who had a unique musical voice. His songs were reflective of his vibrant spirit and the intricate tapestry of his experiences. Beyond his musical achievements, Carlo found joy in the simplicity of nature. An outdoor enthusiast, he loved to ride his bike and take long walks, particularly in Mt. Adams.

Carlo’s creativity extended beyond music; he had a flair for making unique clothing-crafting vests, ties, and hats that spoke to his individual style. A culinary explorer at heart, he delighted in cooking his own creations.

Carlo is survived by his devoted father, Joseph (Eli Todorova) Iavicoli; his siblings: Anthony “Tony” (Destiny Contreras) Iavicoli, Katherine “Kat” (Anne McKendry) Iavicoli, and Olga (Doug Roeder) Iavicoli; and his cherished nieces and nephews: Michael, Liz, Emily, Jake, Sophie, Olivia, Aurelio, and Cataleya. He also leaves behind loving aunts, Anna (Cliff) Webb, and Vicky Dounias, and a cousin, Minos Dounias, all of whom will remember him fondly.

Carlo was preceded in death by his mother, Elizabeth Reischl, and siblings, Christine Iavicoli and Francesco Iavicoli.

His life will be celebrated during a graveside service that will take place on August 1, 2025, at 11:30 AM at Arlington Memorial Gardens, located at 2145 Compton Road, Springfield Township, OH 45231.
