Kathryn Ann Andes

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kathryn Ann Andes, aged 74, who left us on September 16, 2026. Born on June 14, 1952, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Kathryn, lovingly known as Kathy to her family and friends, brought warmth and kindness to everyone she met.

Kathy was a devoted wife to her husband, Morris Andes, and their love was a testament to the beauty of partnership. Her caring nature and thoughtful spirit transformed ordinary moments into cherished memories. Those who knew Kathy understood her genuine compassion for others, and her home was always a place of comfort and acceptance.

She is survived by her beloved husband Morris, her brother Stephen (Donna) Rapien, and her sister Roberta Rapien, each of whom will carry her memory in their hearts.

Kathy dedicated much of her professional life to the telecommunications industry, where she worked as a secretary for Cincinnati Bell. Her presence in the workplace was felt by many, and her kindness and dedication to her colleagues will never be forgotten.

A private service will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, we asked those wishing to honor Kathy to consider donating to a charity of their choice, as this was something she deeply valued.

Rest in peace, dear Kathy. You will be missed more than words can express.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lois Rapien.
