A DEATH
HAS OCCURRED
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Kathy Lynn Chaille, who left us on January 4, 2025, just shy of her 78th birthday. Born on January 25, 1947, in Cincinnati, OH, Kathy touched the lives of those around her with her elegance, generosity, and confidence.
Kathy was a loving mother to her three children, Amy (Richard) Schorsch, Keri (Wayne) Tate, and Ronald (Marek Hartwig) Chaille, and a proud grandmother to six wonderful grandchildren: Kaitlyn (Ben) McGinnis, Meghan (Tyler) Bick, Andrew (Maddie Ranz) Tate, Zachary Tate, Jacob Schorsch, and Emily Tate. Her joy extended to her great-granddaughter, Penelope McGinnis, who brought a special sparkle to her eyes.
She was married for 57 beautiful years to her beloved husband, Ronald, building a loving family. Kathy was the epitome of grace, always put together with her hair and makeup done, showcasing her strong will, compassion, and love.
Throughout her life, Kathy embraced every moment spent with family. She created cherished memories on family vacations to the beach and enjoyed countless summer days boating and camping. A true supporter of her grandchildren, Kathy could often be seen cheering them on at their sporting events. She had a magical way of making Christmas special for her family, filling the season with love, joy, and unforgettable traditions.
Professionally, Kathy dedicated over 30 years to supporting healthcare as a scheduling coordinator for Dr. Cooke and Dr. Miller, where she was not just a colleague but a friend. Her spirit of service continued beyond her career, through volunteerism at her children’s schools and was actively involved in the PTA.
Kathy cherished her time spent with her daughters and granddaughters on “Girls Club” Fridays, indulging in lunch and shopping adventures. She also created wonderful memories with her son in Chicago, just spending time together.
In addition to her immediate family, Kathy is survived by her sister, Karen Fellerman, her niece Mandy (Paul) Hein and her nephew, Michael (Becky) Fellerman. Though she has left this world, her spirit, love, and laughter will forever resonate in the hearts of those she touched. Kathy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ronald Chaille, her parents Ferdinand and Audrey Eppinghoff (nee Poth), and her dear brother-in-law, Mike Fellerman.
Services will be held at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line upon entering the memorial park) on Saturday, January 25, 2025. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM with a memorial service at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in the Garden of Trinity at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
As we say goodbye, let us celebrate Kathy’s extraordinary life and the countless memories she leaves behind.
