Kenneth G. Glover, passed away peacefully on September 30, 2023, at the age of 82. Born on October 26, 1940, in Cincinnati, OH, Ken was a cherished father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will always be remembered for his vibrant personality and genuine love for people.

Ken was a true people person, known for his warm smile and infectious laughter. He had a passion for singing and dancing, and his talent was showcased through his participation in numerous dance competitions. His enthusiasm for the arts extended beyond the dance floor, as he possessed a keen eye for design and a natural talent for interior decoration.

Throughout his life, Ken displayed a deep sense of compassion and kindness, exemplified by his commitment to caring for others. He was a devoted caregiver, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His generosity and selflessness endeared him to the hearts of many, making him a cherished member of the community.

Professionally, Ken thrived in his role as an Office Manager in the railroad industry, where he worked diligently for Conrail. Additionally, he shared his creative talents at Closson’s Furniture, putting his eye for design to use in providing beautiful spaces for countless individuals.

Ken’s love for music found expression through his active involvement in his local church, where he was not only a faithful worshipper but also a member of the choir.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John Joseph Glover and Betty Glover (nee Payne) and his siblings, Charles Glover, Betty Roy, John Glover, Arnetta Burnett, Edwin Glover, Ron Glover, and Sarah Davis.

Ken leaves behind fond memories and a legacy of love. Ken is survived by his longtime best friend, Ken Miller. He is survived by his loving children, Matt Glover and Becky (David) Day. He was a doting grandfather to Destiny (Chris) Hopkins, Faith (Matt) Rakvica, and Jada Day, who brought immense joy to his life. He is also survived by his brother, Thomas (Linda) Glover, with whom he shared a lifelong bond.

The visitation will take place at Spring Grove Funeral Homes-Northwest, 7830 Hamilton Ave. Cincinnati, OH 45231 on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, from 11:30 am – 12:30 pm. Following the visitation, a burial service will be conducted at Arlington Memorial Gardens on the same day at 1:00 pm.

Memorial donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Ken’s presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy will forever be cherished by those who had the honor of knowing him. His love for people, his passion for the arts, and his selfless nature will continue to inspire and touch the lives of many. As we bid farewell to our dear Kenneth, let us remember him with fondness, gratitude, and celebration of a life well-lived.
