Larry Edward Hunter

We are saddened to share the news of Larry Edward Hunter’s passing at the age of 81. Larry, a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend, left us on May 7, 2024, while surrounded by his family. He had a passion for spending quality time with his loved ones, hitting the golf course, and enjoying meals at local spots like T.G.I.Fridays, Bacall’s Cafe, and Mike Fink Restaurant. His infectious silly, goofy, personality will be missed by all who knew him as “Big Lar.”

Larry’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of his son Scott (Jessica) Hunter, daughter Kimberly (Mike) Schultz, brother, Robert “Bob” (Linda) Hunter, grandchildren, Evan (Jessica) Leugers, Hailey Hunter, Colin Schultz, Drew Stevens, Cameron Hunter and Adam Stevens, along with many extended relatives and friends.

A dedicated professional, Larry worked for over 40 years at Michael Tires Plus as a service and sales manager, helping people get back on the road. Larry made a lasting impact on many through his work and his warm personality.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Sylvia Hunter, and grandson, Michael Schultz.

Private family services will be held to honor Larry’s life and legacy.

Larry will be laid to rest at Arlington Memorial Gardens. His memory will continue to live on through the countless lives he touched and the memories he created. May he rest in peace.
