Lawrence Edward Hoover Jr.

Lawrence Edward Hoover Jr., age 72, passed away June 15, 2026, surrounded by family.

Larry was a devoted father of Lawrence (Taylor) Hoover III (Trey), and Lauren (Benjamin) Jenkins. Grandfather of Adrian Hoover, Aubrey Hoover, and Chloe Jenkins; Brother of Bob (Wendy Davis-) Hoover and Steve (Emily) Hoover. He was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence Hoover Sr., and his mother, Barbara Hoover.

Born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio, Larry attended Aiken High School and Miami University. He spent more than 30 years working as a real estate agent. Most recently, Larry resided in Spring Hill, Florida. He was very proud of his beautiful family and enjoyed visiting his grandchildren in Cincinnati. He was admired for his great integrity, kindness, and sense of humor. Larry was an avid hunter, sports fan, and loving family man who enjoyed making memories with his family most of all. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Graveside service will be held at Arlington Memorial Gardens on July 31, 2026 at 12:00PM, followed by the internment. A private celebration of life will be held at LaRosas-Wyoming after the graveside services. In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to the American Cancer Society.
