Elsie Lorraine Griffin, a resident of Amelia, Ohio, passed away on September 11, 2023, at Siena Gardens at the age of 92. She was born in Fairfax, Ohio to the late Elsie and John Halfhill. 

Lorraine was the beloved mother of Paul Barbro (Lois), Judy Colonel (Leonard) and Steve Barbro, cherished grandmother of 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great, great-grandchildren, dear sister of Betty Jones and the late Marie Dunning, George Halfhill and John Halfhill. Lorraine was passionate about her family and also loved to dance and sing karaoke. 

Family and friends are invited to a visitation for Lorraine on Monday, September 18 from 10-11 AM at E.C. Nurre Funeral Home, 177 W. Main St., Amelia. Visitation will be followed by a funeral service at 11 AM. Interment at Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt. Healthy..
