“My mother was a beautiful woman with a heart of gold, who loved her family and friends, especially her children, grandsons & their wives & her great-granddaughter. She had a sense of humor, loved chicken ‘n’ dumplings, grits, pancakes, cream of wheat, soup beans, salmon patties and fried chicken and ice cream. She was always active and on the go, until age and circumstance put limits on her. I love you, Mom, and I miss you!”

“My condolences to the family. Jewell was a very pleasant and enjoyable person to be around. She will be greatly missed. Deepest sympathy, Fran Burchfield”

“My deepest condolences to Tony, Priscilla, and all the family members I have not met. It was a delight to live across the street from Jewell. I always loved talking to her — the kindest, most attentive neighbor anyone could possibly wish for. Sending much love to the entire family.”

“I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a dear friend to my Mommy and Daddy, they loved her very much. I loved getting to know her and of course you Priscilla. I know she is with our savior and all who have passed before her. I share in the pain of this loss with your family. Praying for you all during this emotional time. Love Carole Sue”
