M. Virginia “Ginna” Townsley, 93, of Bella Vista, Arkansas passed away on December 11, 2023. She was born on February 6, 1930 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Virgil Morris Retallick and Pearl Mary (Busam).

Ginna was married to her husband, Bill Townsley on March 30, 1951. They were married for over 70 years, and raised two sons together. The couple loved to travel all across the world in their spare time. Ginna spent several years working for Michigan Bell Telephone Company as a service representative. She was a devoted woman of Christ, and she was an avid member of Village Bible Church in Bella Vista. Ginna also spent many hours reading, and she loved spending time with her cat, Precious.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, H. William “Bill” Townsley.

Survivors include: two sons, Mark (Cindy) Townsley and Gregg Townsley; six grandchildren; from Mark’s marriage a 7th grandson and a great-grandson; numerous extended family members and dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on January 5, 2024 at 1:00pm at Mildred B. Cooper Chapel in Bella Vista.
