Marcia Julia Brisbin

Septebmer 20, 1939 – September 26, 2023

Marcia Julia Brisbin

Marcia Julia Brisbin, lovingly known as Marty, Grandma, and Great-grandma, passed away on September 26, 2023, at the age of 84 in her hometown of Cincinnati, OH. Born on September 20, 1939, Marcia brought joy and laughter into the lives of all who knew her.

Marcia was a dedicated homemaker and took great pride in creating a warm and loving environment for her family. Her passion for baking and cooking was unrivaled, and she delighted in preparing delicious meals and treats for her loved ones. Her chocolate chip cookies, homemade cheesecake, pies, and special Cincinnati Chili (and don’t forget the Goetta!) recipes will forever be remembered and cherished.

In addition to her culinary talents, Marcia had a zest for life. She found joy in camping, bowling, fishing, and tending to her bountiful garden. Most of all, she treasured the time spent with her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, creating cherished memories that will be carried on for generations.

Known for her quick wit and infectious laughter, Marcia had a way of making everyone around her feel at ease. Her sense of humor brought lightness to any situation and her genuine kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her.

A loyal fan of the Cincinnati Reds, Marcia could often be found cheering on her favorite team during baseball season. She loved nothing more than relaxing and watching the game, always hoping for a victory for her beloved Reds.

Marcia is survived by her devoted son; Joe (Nancy) Cooper, and loving daughters; Peggy Bales & Cheryl Brisbin, grandchildren; Kayla (Ross) Meadows, Jessica Cooper, Austin (Marissa) Bales and Ashley Cooper; a host of great grandchildren, extended relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 9, 2023, at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231, starting at 11:00 am and going until the services begin at 12:30 PM. Once on the grounds of the memorial park, follow the BLUE line to the funeral home.

Her departure has left an unfillable void in the hearts of those who knew her, but her memory will live on through the laughter, love, and joy she shared with all. Marcia will forever be remembered as a kind, funny, and loving soul who touched the lives of everyone she met.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at https://act.alz.org/site/Donation2.
