Margaret Hiller

Margaret Hiller

It is with a mix of heartache and joy that we announce the passing of our beloved Margaret Hiller, who graced this world with her laughter and love from April 4, 1927, until February 17, 2025. Born in North College Hill, Ohio, Margaret—affectionately known as the “little red head” by her late husband Bob—was the heart and soul of her family and a beacon of joy in her community.

Margaret’s life was rich with music, dance, and creativity. Coming from a musical family, she loved to play the piano and often could be found dancing with joy. She had a special talent for sewing, designing beautiful outfits for her daughter Kathy, and was a master chef known for her delicious maultaschen soup that brought everyone together around the dinner table.

Family was Margaret’s greatest treasure. She is survived by her cherished children: Kathy (Shannon) Womer, Rob (Laurie) Hiller, Terri (Don) Eilermann, Maureen Biedenbender, and Karl (Wendy) Hiller. Margaret’s love only grew with each grandchild—Andy (Sarah), Amy (Chad), Shawn (Rob), Eric (Mandy), Leslie, Liz (Chris), Kelly (Mark), Jessie (Mark), Jerry (Samantha), and Molly—as well as her 18 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her endless joy.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Herman and Katherine Klosterman (nee Wuennemann), her siblings, her loving husband Robert Hiller, and her granddaughter Leslie Hiller.

In honor of Margaret’s incredible life, we invite friends and family to gather for a Celebration of Life. The visitation will take place at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (follow the blue line upon entering the memorial park) on Monday, February 24, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM, followed by a meaningful funeral service at 10:45 AM. A burial will immediately follow in the Garden of Trinity.

Join us to share stories, laughter, and memories that reflect the vibrant life of a remarkable woman who loved deeply and lived fully. Margaret Hiller’s spirit will continue to shine brightly in all our hearts.

“She was an incredibly wonderful lady who always made you feel comfortable and one of the family. She will be missed. My condolences and prayers for her and family.”

“To Rob, our brother-in-law, Laurie, Liz and to all members of the Hiller family, we send our deepest condolences. No matter how expected an end occurs, it’s still a deep loss and leaves a hole in the heart. Take time to mourn and celebrate and love one an other. I’ll see you all Monday. Marty and Susan”
