Marian F. Weiskittel (nee Elkins)
Beloved wife of James Weiskittel for nearly 67 years. Devoted mother of Ken (Karen), Bill (Shellie), Lori and the late Sandra “Sandy.” Cherished grandmother of Tyler (Lindsey), Sarah (Chuck), Hannah (Corey), Sam (Maddie), Max, Erinn (Tristin), Eric, Marissa, Jackie, and great grandmother of Addi, Ethan, and Tatum. Loving sister to Jean, Loraine, Carol, Bobby, and the late Ray, Ruth, and Sharon. Aunt and great aunt to many nieces and nephews.
In her working years, Marian could be found ringing up sales at McAlpin’s where she worked as a dedicated employee for many years. In retirement, Marian enjoyed traveling with Jim, especially on the Ohio river boats with their “river boat friends”. She loved jigsaw puzzles and word searches, but really enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid Facebook user where she followed her grandchildren and often knew more than even their own parents did! Even a game of YoWorld with her daughters was on the agenda at times.
In her last months and days, she was surrounded by family. After a full life, Marian passed peacefully on Thursday January 18, 2024, at the age of 90.
