Mary Alice Burns

Alice (Hensley) Burns, age 86, passed away peacefully on June 2, 2023, surrounded by her family.

Alice was born on March 7, 1937, in Bonny Blue, Virginia. She was the daughter of Elmer and Lillie Ann Derossett.

She was a faithful member of Sharonville Free Holiness Church of God.

Alice is survived by her children, Marvin (Tedra) Hensley, Wendell (Teresa) Hensley, and stepson, Gerald (Dana) Burns, her grandchildren, Josh Hensley, Jessica (Matthew) Philpot, Jolene (Jared) Hager, Jonathan Hensley, Brian (Nancy) Hensley, Scott (Brittany) Hensley, Mary Hensley, Becky (Tim) Philhower, Id (Samantha) Hensley, Anthony Hensley, Michael (Amy) Bowling, and Patrick Dillon. She is also survived by 21 great grandchildren, and 7 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Vernon Hensley, and her great grandchild, Jaycen Ray Hager.

Visitation will be held Saturday, June 10, 2023, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231 (Follow the blue line to the left when entering the memorial gardens).

Services for Mary Alice Burns will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at 1:00 PM at Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Pierce, officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Gardens in the Garden of 23rd Psalm.
