Mary Ann Roat (nee Butts) age 86 of Middletown and formerly of Anderson Twp., passed away February 5, 2026. She was the beloved wife of the late George W. Roat Jr., devoted mother of Mary (Marc) Predmore and George (Jacqui) Roat, loving grandmother of William (Sarah) Predmore, Jennifer (Jake) Meiser, Sarah (Tad) Kimm, and George Sean (Tabitha) Roat, and Hannah (Ben) Wittel, caring great-grandmother of Aaliyah, Rylee, Charlotte, Joseph, Loxley, Auticus, Alba, Conor, Watson, Seamus, and Maeve, and dear sister of the late Estella, Edward, Ruth, Jeannie, Lucy, Shirley, and Gloria. Funeral service will be held at T.P. White & Sons Funeral Home, 2050 Beechmont Ave., Mt. Washington, on Tuesday, February 10th at 1 pm. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12 to 1 pm. If desired, memorials may be directed to Queen City Hospice .
