Mary Anne Varland

Mary Anne Varland, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on October 30, 2025, at the age of 79.

Born on July 4, 1946, in Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary Anne dedicated her life to her family and friends, enriching their lives with love, kindness, and a deep appreciation for meaningful connections. She possessed a natural gift for listening—truly understanding and empathizing with those around her. Her honesty, compassion, and deeply caring nature were the hallmarks of her personality.

Mary Anne is survived by her devoted husband, Eric Varland; her son, Luke (Allison) Varland; her grandchildren, Adam (Nikki) Durso, Amanda Durso, Lina Varland, and Ellie Varland; and her great-grandchild, Hazel Durso.

She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Susan Durso, and her parents, Clarence and Margaret Bolger.
