Mary Margaret Bachmann

Mary Bachmann, age 94, passed away on November 9, 2022.

Mary was born in Cincinnati, Ohio to Henry and Margaret Gillich. Mary married Robert Bachmann on July 1, 1950; He preceded her in death in 1994.

Mary is survived by her children; Gail (Doug) Troy, Lynn (Gary) Krebs, Eric (Denice) Bachmann. Grandchildren; Matthew (Beth) Troy, Timothy (Julie) Krebs, Adam (Brittany) Troy, Mark (J) Krebs, Andrew (Adrienne) Troy, and Carol (Shane) Schlichter. Great Grandchildren; Nathaniel, Jesse, Isaac, Ezra, Tommy, Lucas, and Archer. Also survived by extended family members and friends.

Mary graduated from Our Lady of Angels High School in 1946, she went on to attend Good Samaritan School of Nursing from which she graduated in 1949. Also known as the “old ranger,” she was a Girl Scout leader for many years. She retired as the Director of Nursing at Llanfair Retirement Community in 1990. Mary and Robert were world travelers. Mary volunteered at The Family Resource Center in Oxford, Ohio for many years following retirement.

Memorial visitation will be held Friday, November 18, 2022, from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home. (2155 Compton Rd. Cincinnati, OH 45231- Follow the blue line to the left once you enter the Memorial Park)

Memorial service for Mary Bachmann will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022, at 11:00 AM at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home with inurnment to follow.

Reception to follow at Northminster Presbyterian Church 703 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231.
