Michael E. Gibbs, age 68, of Liberty Township, Ohio passed away on February 21, 2024 at his home. He was born on July 25, 1955, in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of Raymond and Mabel (Hignite) Gibbs. He graduated from Oak Hills High School in 1973 and on July 1, 1975, he married his soulmate and true love, Ella Rose. Michael was employed for many years as the Maintenance Foreman for Queen City Metro. He was a member of Redemption Pentecostal Church in Franklin, Ohio. He was a wonderful husband, loved and served the Lord, and has now met his goal of “making it into heaven.” He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Ella Gibbs; one son, Shane (Mellie); three grandchildren, Kylie, Breana, and Zachary; and many other loving relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Chad; and one brother, Bill Gibbs. Visitation will be held at Highway of Holiness Church, 3470 Hamilton Middletown Road, Hamilton, OH 45011 on Thursday, February 29, 2024 from 6 – 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held at church on Friday, March 1, 2024 at 11 a.m. with burial following in Arlington Memorial Gardens in Mt.
