Michael Jerome Quinn

Michael Jerome Quinn, 78, of Fairfield Township, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 29, 2026, following a lengthy health battle. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed.

Mike was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, on October 16, 1947, to Evelyn (Salyers) and Robert Quinn. As a young boy, he spent his days fishing, riding his bike, and looking for a little mischief in his North College Hill neighborhood.

Shortly after high school, Mike met Vicki, a pretty girl who caught his eye with her miniskirt and white knee-high boots. He was immediately smitten and often told her that he knew he had found the love of his life. Mike and Vicki (Clem) were married on November 27, 1968, beginning a 58-year journey together. They went on to welcome three children, Kelli, Katie, and Kyle, whom they raised with love and devotion through all of life’s highs and lows.

Mike built a long and successful career as a manufacturers’ representative, selling materials used in disposable personal care products and hospital supplies. He eventually founded his own company, MJ Quinn and Associates. His work allowed him to visit many countries around the world, where he built lasting business relationships and friendships along the way. He took great pride in his work and in the many people he met throughout his career.

But Mike’s greatest joy and proudest accomplishment was being a father and grandfather. Always a jokester and notoriously “silly,” he was a constant presence in the lives of his children and grandchildren. Despite his busy travel schedule, he found a way to be there for both the important and not-so-important moments in their lives. He rarely missed a game or recital, often arriving early to make sure he had the best seat in the house. His family could always count on him to show up, make them laugh, and let them know how proud he was of them.

Later in life, Mike showed a strength and dignity that few could match. He faced numerous injuries and illnesses that ultimately stole from him the retirement he and Vicki had dreamed of. Even as his health declined, however, Mike never lost his ability to enjoy life. He never shied away from a good laugh, a good glass of wine, a fine cigar, and the company of family and friends.

Mike is survived by his devoted wife of 58 years, Vicki Lee (Clem); his children, Katie (Brian) Naehring and Kyle (Natalie) Quinn; his grandchildren, Ellie, Mitchell, Shay, and Maeryn; his sister, Shelly Losacker; and a host of nieces and nephews whom he adored.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Evelyn (Salyers) and Robert Quinn; sister and brother-in-law, Vicki and Bill Powers; brother-in-law, Rick Losacker; mother-in-law Barbara (Kemple) Dempsey; brother-in-law Robert (Butch) Clem. Also preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Kelli Quinn. Our family takes comfort in knowing that Mike and Kelli are now reunited in heaven.

Mike leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and family. He will be remembered for his playful spirit, his generous heart, his devotion to those he loved, and his ability to make people smile. Above all, he will be remembered as a husband, father, and grandfather who was always there for his family.

His absence will be deeply felt, but his memory will live on in the stories we tell, the laughter we share, and the love he gave so freely.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 4^th, 2026 from 10:00-11:00am at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the RED line). A funeral service will follow at 11:00am.
