Michael Paul Miller

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael Paul Miller, beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. Michael was born on January 5, 1950, in Cincinnati, Ohio, and left us too soon on October 6, 2025. He was a devoted family man who cherished his 53 years of marriage to his wonderful wife, Judith Miller. Together, they shared their lives, laughter, and love, making countless memories along the way.

Michael was a proud father to his two sons, Gregory (Kip) and Patrick, and he often expressed how much joy they brought into his life. He also shared a special bond with his brother, Jeffrey (Melissa), and was the best uncle to his nieces, Brandi, Shelby and Aurora creating a legacy of familial love that will continue through the generations.

His professional journey led him to become a skilled computer specialist at the IRS, where his expertise made a significant impact on those around him. Outside of work, Michael had many passions that brought joy and fulfillment to his life. One of his fondest hobbies was listening and attempting to play the bagpipes. He purchased a set; he never got around to taking lessons. Nevertheless, the love for music always resided in his heart.

Michael and Judith shared a unique bond centered around their love for animals, rescuing many cats over the years. Their dear companion, Cat Girl, was always by his side, providing him with comfort and companionship. Michael fondly remembered Muggles, his furry friend who sadly passed before him and who is now waiting for him at the Rainbow Bridge.

A true geek at heart, Michael enjoyed immersing himself in the worlds of Star Trek and Star Wars, and he had a special fondness for collecting figurines from The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit series. His playful spirit and love for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

The family will privately hold services for Michael.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to honor Michael’s life to Parkinson’s Foundation https://www.parkinson.org/.

Though he has left this earthly realm, Michael’s spirit will continue to resonate in the hearts of those he loved and who loved him. His legacy of compassion and laughter will live on, reminding us of all to embrace our passions and cherish every moment.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents: Ralph and Irene Miller (nee Moore).
