Mildred Iona Gregory (nee Coffey) age 92 passed away peacefully at her home on February 15, 2026, in the presence of her caregiver Kandy that was by her side. She worked for 16 years as a Manager for UDF before retiring from Providence Hospital in 1998. Preceded in death by her beloved husband of 66 years Hershel Gregory, parents Ed and Edna Coffey, siblings Ray Coffey, Mary Emily Miley, Edith Dobbs, Rita Dale Chriswell and granddaughter Angie Helton. Surviving siblings are Josephine Decker, Carol Provisor, Gleta Upchurch, and Donnie Coffey. Devoted mother of Eddie (Vicki) Gregory, Maryann (Jerry) Hughes, Dillard (Kim) Gregory. Dear grandmother of Lisa (Michael) Rhoads, Kelli (Stephen) Chapman, Valerie (Dray) Leo, Ryan Gregory, and Stephanie Gregory. Great- grandmother to Ashley Rhoads, Gregory (Anna) Rhoads, Boston and Ace Chapman, Beth Helton, Dylan and Raelyn Leo, Jayden, Joseph, Bryson, Kaelyn, Anthony Jr., Adalynn, Nevaeh, Cassidy, and Ryan Gregory Jr. Visitation will be held at Paul R. Young Funeral Home, 7345 Hamilton Avenue, Mt. Healthy on Sunday February 22, 2026, from 10 AM until time of the Funeral Service at Noon.
