Myrna Louise Glendenin

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Myrna Louise Glendenin, born on October 22, 1940, in Mt. Healthy, Ohio, who peacefully left us on August 25, 2026. Myrna was a devoted homemaker, whose nurturing spirit and unwavering support shaped the lives of her family and friends.

She is survived by her beloved husband Jerry Glendenin, her daughter Julie (Michael) Roden, and her son Scott (Kristyn Mulloy) Glendenin. Myrna’s legacy also lives on through her cherished grandchildren, Darcie (Jake) Mydlo, Drew (Katie) Roden, and Izzy Glendenin, as well as her great-grandchildren, Ava Mydlo, Livy Mydlo, and Huddy Roden. Myrna always prioritized family, being an unwavering presence in the lives of her loved ones, offering encouragement and love in all their endeavors.

Myrna was preceded in death by her parents, Alexis and Helen Barnes.

Myrna found joy in the rhythm of life, embracing her passion for dancing. Whether it was Square Dancing, Contra Dancing, or Country Western Dancing her spirit was most alive when moving to music. Traveling brought her great joy, particularly her memories of Gatlinburg, TN, and Hawaii, where she created moments that would be cherished forever.

Myrna’s friendships extended beyond mere acquaintances; she forged strong bonds that resembled family ties, always being there for anyone who reached out to her. Her kindness, warmth, and ability to connect with others left an indelible mark on the hearts of many.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 5th, 2026 at 10:00am at the Arlington Memorial Gardens Lakeside Mausoleum Chapel, 2145 Compton Road, Cincinnati, OH 45231 (Follow the RED line). A memorial service will follow at 10:30am. Inurnment will take place at 11:00am at Arlington Memorial Gardens.
