APRO, Nola M. (nee Thomas), age 94, of Springfield Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Nola was the beloved wife of the late Jan F. Apro and a devoted mother to Vicki L. (George) Prather, Robin S. (Mike) Keller, and Jann B. Apro. She was a loving grandmother to Jana (Eric) Davis, Katie (Sean) Gill, Ritchie (Heather) Allen, Robbie Allen, and Michael (Megan) Keller, and a proud great-grandmother to Ryan, Madelyn, Caroline, Isabelle, Raegan, Ryker, Brayden, Emma Kate, Olivia, Hannah, and Claire.

She was preceded in death by her siblings, Daniel B. Thomas, Merilyn Sterman, Ethel Meeks, Shirley Dessauer, and June Brewer.

Nola was a lifetime member of St. Paul United Church of Christ, where she sang soprano in the choir and was often honored to perform solos. Her faith was a guiding light throughout her life. She also dedicated more than 45 years of service as a secretary at the funeral home for Paul R. Young Sr., where she was known for her kindness, professionalism, and unwavering commitment.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff at Gateway Springs in Hamilton, Ohio, for their compassionate care and support.
