A DEATH
HAS OCCURRED
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Pamela Jean Mara, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Pamela was a cherished member of the North College Hill community, born on June 11, 1963, and sadly departed on November 22, 2024, at the age of 61.
Pamela found true love with her husband, Tom Mara, 35 years ago, at Dixie Electric Company. Their union blessed them with two wonderful sons, Tony and Nick, who were the light of her life. Her grandchildren, Alice and Sophia, brought her immense joy and laughter.
Growing up in Mt. Airy alongside her sisters, Debbie and Theresa, and brother Jim, Pamela formed unbreakable bonds with her family. She adored her animals. Pamela found solace and purpose driving the school bus for several school districts, where she brought smiles to countless children throughout her career.
Pamela’s love for Nascar became a cherished pastime. As an avid fan, her passion for the sport always shone brightly. She spent her quiet moments at home surrounded by her pets and the memories she held dear.
In honor of Pamela’s life, the family will hold a private service.
Pamela Mara’s memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her best. May she rest in eternal peace.
