Patricia Ann Dawson

In Loving Memory of Patricia Ann Dawson

Patricia “Pat” Ann Dawson, a beloved mother, sister, and friend, passed away on September 27, 2023, at the age of 83. She was born on November 12, 1939, in Cincinnati, OH, to her parents Charles and Catherine Wiley. Pat resided in Hamilton, OH, at the time of her passing.

Known for her outgoing and friendly nature, Pat had an undeniable charm that instantly made her a friend to all. She had a natural ability to strike up conversations and create connections with strangers, leaving a lasting impression wherever she went. Her willingness to share stories and her quick wit brought laughter and joy to those around her.

Feeding and watching hummingbirds brought immense delight to Pat. She had a special fondness for these delicate creatures and always ensured they had ample nourishment in her yard. Additionally, Pat found great enjoyment in her recreational activities. Whether it was playing poker, with her beloved Avon friends, she embraced the thrill of competition and the camaraderie it fostered. She was a slot player and also enjoyed games and bingo with her neighborhood friends.
Pat was also an avid Reds fan and watched all their games. When not watching the Reds, she would watch Survivor and Big Brother.

Pat is survived by her loving daughters, Sharon Turner, Cathy (Eric) Durbin, and Linda (Ronald) Hall, as well as her devoted brother, Dennis (Lark) Wiley, grandchildren, Randall (Denise) Durbin, Stephanie Turner, Nicole Esterkamp, Chelsea Hall, Katie Turner, great-grandchildren, Makena, Kaylee, Lilly, DJ, Hailie, Kasen, Kylie, and many extended relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband of 10 years, James Dawson.
