Patricia L. Quinn

Patricia “Pat” Louise Quinn (nee Filter), a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2026, at the age of 89. Born on March 25, 1937, in Cincinnati, Ohio, she spent her childhood in Cheviot and later raised her family in Bridgetown. She was a devoted Lutheran instilling strong values in her children, Coleen and Kelly, that will continue to guide them throughout their lives.

Pat dedicated more than 30 years of her life to caring for her family and home. Following the unexpected loss of her husband, Dick Quinn, she returned to the workforce. For 25 years she served as an Office Assistant at Cincinnati Early Learning Center in Harrison, Ohio, where she enjoyed supporting the children, families, and staff.  She continued working until her retirement at the age of 85.

Pat is survived by her cherished daughters Coleen (Ralph) Ossenbeck and Kelly (Ed) Makin, her grandchildren: Megan (Jordan) Kelly, Ryan (Megan) Ossenbeck, Shannon Makin, and Cole Makin, as well as her great-grandchildren, Bristol Makin and Brady Kelly. Pat was preceded in death by her parents, Carl and Rose Filter, her husband, Dick, and her siblings, Karyl Harrison and Shirley Thomas.

A private family viewing and graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 1, 2026, at the Arlington Memorial Gardens. Pat will be laid to rest in the Garden of Resurrection, where she will join the love of her life, Dick.
