Paul Jobson Carman

November 2, 1945 – January 29, 2023

Paul Jobson Carman

Mr. Paul Jobson Carman, age 77, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2023.

Paul was born in Oil City, PA to Paul M. Carman and Judith Jobson Carman. At age 5, he and his sister became orphaned and were fortunate to have each other. He served his country as part of the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Survived by his sister Karen Carman – Hedlund, two nephews and one niece from FL and California.

Friends that are like family to Paul are too numerous to mention.

Paul was a drag racer at heart, but also enjoyed bowling, competitive weightlifting, with two state weight lifting championships, for lifters over 62 lifting over 300+ LBS, and pool with his friends.

When not on the track he could be found at White Castle talking shop with his racing friends or at the gun range practicing.

Paul retired from the US postal service. Paul would help anyone due to his huge heart.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, February 8, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, when services will begin, at The Arlington Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, 2155 Compton Road, 45231. Once on the cemetery grounds follow the blue line to the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, please make a donations to the Vietnam Veterans of America at https://vva.org/donate/ or the American Heart Association at https://www.heart.org/
