KORDENBROCK, Peggy Jo (nee Ruff). Beloved wife of James “Jim” E. Kordenbrock. Devoted mother of Shelley Rivers, Toby Kordenbrock, Roxanne (Ed Holzschuh Jr.) Kordenbrock, Cori (Joe) Zaenkert, Brett (Justine Law) Kordenbrock and Troy Kordenbrock. Dear grandmother of Marisa, Tres, Julie, Madison, Kayla, Austin, Hunter, Lilyann, Ainsley, Edie, Margot and 8 great grandchildren. Sister of Barbara Ruff and the late Nancy Perchermeier.

Peggy had a passion for gardening, crocheting, quilting, ceramics, and sewing. She enjoyed traveling and meticulously planning trips with Triptik, as well as cooking and exchanging recipes. Peggy loved to sing and dance which brought smiles and joy to everyone around her. Always prepared, she carried a fanny pack stocked with sunscreen, band aids, and coupons. Peggy had a special fondness for chocolate turtles, partly because of her connection to how she met Jim. She cherished trips with her grandkids, particularly the annual ritual of school shopping for clothes. Known for her thoughtful gifts, Peggy’s memory will continue to shine through her loved ones.

Passed away on Monday, August 12, 2024 at the age of 77. Resident of Colerain Twp.

Visitation will be held at Neidhard Young Funeral Home 7401 Hamilton Ave., Mt. Healthy on Sunday, August 18, 2024 from 4 PM – 6 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Corpus Christi Church 2014 Springdale Rd. (45231) on Monday, August 19, 2024 at 11 AM. Donations may be made to the Greater Cincinnati Alzheimer’s Association.
